EPDM - ETHYLENE PROPYLENE DIENE MONOMER

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) is a synthetic rubber roofing membrane extensively used in commercial buildings. Made primarily from ethylene and propylene, EPDM is known for its exceptional durability and weather resistance. Available in black and white, with thicknesses typically ranging from 45 to 90 mils, it is suitable for both low-slope and flat roofs.

EPDM roofing can last 20-30 years or more, offering resistance to UV radiation, ozone, and extreme temperatures. Its flexibility prevents cracks and splits, making it suitable for various climates. The membrane can withstand hail, heavy rains, and fluctuating temperatures.

PVC - POLYVINYL CHLORIDE

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) roofing is a single-ply membrane used in commercial buildings, known for its durability and energy efficiency. Made from a flexible form of PVC, the material is reinforced with polyester or fiberglass for added strength.

 

PVC roofing is available in various colors, typically white, which enhances its reflective properties. PVC membranes are highly resistant to chemicals, fire, punctures, and weathering, making them suitable for a wide range of climates and environmental conditions. The material remains flexible at low temperatures and can withstand high winds and heavy rainfall. It Is Typically Used In Restaurants Or Factories Where Temperature Is A Factor. They Are Able To Withstand Higher Heats From Exhausts Etc.
